<<>>
In her work and particularly in her recent production, Adeela Suleman faces themes tied to the dynamics of social life of contemporary Pakistani culture. Common elements of the culture of the Indian Subcontinent appear in her last big sculptures as to underline that art as an existential dimension is going beyond the borders and limits that human beings fixed. Another element of the art of Adeela Suleman is the problem of the form: it can be ambiguous, contain innumerable meanings or be nothing more than self-referential. Adeela Suleman's work also underscores the importance of 'finding' an object through the artistic process. The 'found' object immediately assumes the role of protagonist in the mental and aesthetic space of the creation.
